Andy Arnts (1970), is writer, columnist and artist. As a
permanent editor and reviewer he is joined to the France
magazine En Route. He
is also
active as reporter
and editor
for
TV-program
& magazine
The
Taste of Life. In 2004 he made his debut with
the novel Richter. A book on a philosophical
artist in his thirties who cherishes an uncontrollable
facination for art, mysticism, fate and secret
eroticism.
In March 2010, The House of Books has published Van
Bouillabaisse tot Bruni, his new compilation of
French
travel impressions and narratives.
As an artist, Andy Arnts participated in the Biennale
Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporanea in Florence,
Italy in 2005. In his work he combines the influences of
expressionism and cubism. Typically for his approach is
the use of strong, dynamic colors while figurative
images are often subject to geometric deformation. His
work is in private collections throughout Europe and
South Africa.
